Robert “Bob” Oliver

Bob has a passion to help people and businesses.  He utilizes his 27 years of industry and 9 years of advising/coaching to help companies execute at a new level.

He has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineer from the University of Wisconsin system.  While in industry Bob worked for General Motors, Medtronic, Nestle, and Rockwell and several start up companies in engineering, manufacturing, operations, and leadership roles.

• In a supercomputer develop engineering role Bob led an internal team, IBM engineers, and IBM Fellows, to co-developed the highest density interconnect in the world.
• In an operations role Bob helped develop & manage the budget for a $195MM operation and led Lean Six Sigma/Lean projects resulting in significant savings.
• In a leadership role Bob established a $20MM  greenfield operation for a computer server start-up organization.Bob also directed many programs and projects during his time in industry.

During his advising and coaching tenure Bob:

• Lead companies to many operational improvements for better efficiency, creating more capacity and creating better cultures people enjoy working in resulting in over $50M in impacts.
• Co-developed an Innovation system and helped several companies innovate and develop products/services.  This resulted in over $150MM in impacts.
• Developed and helped companies implement a Business Operating System to execute at a higher level.
• Developed marketing strategies, sales plan, and executed business development
• Helped organizations understand what their financials were telling them and coached them how to improve their profits, generate more c cash,  capitalize their growth, and ultimately improve their business value.

Bob believes in hands on-minds-on collaboration.  He coached soccer, football, and baseball teams.  He designed and built his own home near Chippewa Falls, WI. Bob loves to utilize his experiences to help others. He believes in listening, discussing approaches, collaborating on solutions, and relentless execution.
